Sharp, the Japanese electronics company, has invented a camera that allows the user to zoom into an object simply by partially closing one’s eyelid.
Sharp’s automatic zoom technology was developed at its US lab in Washington state; the camera works by detecting how much white of a person’s eye is showing, partially closing the eye for longer than a blink causes the camera to zoom in – repeating the process causes the camera to zoom out again.
